Kris Waldherr is an author-illustrator and an authority on goddesses and the Divine Feminine. Some of her books are inspired by women’s history, especially of the Italian Renaissance. Her many publications include The Book of Goddesses (One Spirit/Book of the Month Club bestseller), which lent its art to a Narada music CD, several illustrated calendars, the bestselling Goddess Tarot (over 200,000 copies in print) and the Goddess Inspiration Oracle. She also created an illustrated novel, The Lover’s Path, and The Lover’s Path Tarot (New Age Retailer Narcissus Award winner).

Miramax Pictures featured her Rapunzel watercolors in Terry Gilliam’s The Brothers Grimm dvd. Her art has been shown in museums and galleries throughout the United States and United Kingdom, including the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She is also a designer of books and websites.
